Information we collect

We collect a limited set of information to run the service:

• Account information. Your email address, which we use for sign-in (magic link) and to contact you about your account.
• Business searches. The business names and addresses you enter or select when you create a report.
• Reports you generate. The reports we produce for you and basic records of when they were created.
• Billing information. Subscription and credit history. Card details are handled by our payments processor and are never stored on our servers.
• Messages you send us. Anything you submit through the contact form.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Create the reports you request and show them to you.
• Operate your account, process payments, and manage credits.
• Respond to your questions and support requests.
• Keep the service secure and improve how it works.

Report data and public records

KYSB reports are built from public information, such as Google and Yelp reviews and Texas public records like TABC alcohol permits and Texas Comptroller registration. Before this material is analyzed and written into a report, we filter out personal details such as owner names, personal addresses, and tax IDs so they do not reach the synthesis step. The subject of a report is a business and its public record, not a private individual.

Service providers we share data with

We use a small set of trusted providers to run KYSB. They process data only to provide their service to us:

• Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing.
• Supabase for account authentication and database storage.
• Anthropic for the AI synthesis that writes the report.
• Apify and Google for collecting public business and review data.
• Resend for sending account and notification emails.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention and your choices

We keep your account information and reports while your account is active so you can return to them. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
