How it works

The report is the product. Here it is, up close.

A KYSB report is built from two things: what your customers have already written about you, and what the State of Texas has on record. This page shows what the report contains, where every line comes from, and how one gets made.

The report

Every section, and where it comes from

The same five-part shape every time, so you always know where to look. Here is a miniature with each part labeled.

  1. 1

    One rating badge per platform

Google's rating and Yelp's rating sit side by side, never averaged into one number. They come from different review pools, so blending them would be misleading.

  2. 2

    The whole picture, up top

A short summary that tells you where the business stands before you read another line.

  3. 3

What customers love and complain about

The patterns across your reviews, grouped into themes, with the specifics that keep coming up.

  4. 4

    Rating trends, per platform

How the recent reviews compare to the long-run picture, shown separately for Google and Yelp.

  5. 5

    Local context from Texas records

TABC licensing and Texas Comptroller registration: how long the business has been operating and whether its paperwork is current. State records, not guesses.

San Antonio, TX

In good shape. Customers love the pastries and the people, and the record shows clean paperwork since 2014. The clearest opportunity is Saturday mornings, where demand keeps outrunning the batch schedule.

Bluebonnet Bakery is a fictional business we use to show the report shape. Your report is built from your real reviews and records.

The sources

Real reviews, kept per platform. Real Texas records.

The depth of a report is decided by what goes into it. Three sources, each pulled fresh for every report.

Google reviews, read in full

We pull the recent reviews with text, not just the star count, and read them for patterns: what keeps getting praised, what keeps getting flagged, and when it started. The themes in your report cite the specifics customers actually wrote.

Yelp, scored separately

Yelp reviewers are a different crowd with different habits, so Yelp gets its own rating, its own trend, and its own read. We never blend the two platforms into one number, because a blended number would describe neither.

Texas public records

TABC licensing and Texas Comptroller registration add the background reviews cannot: how long a business has actually been operating, whether its permits are current, and how the paper trail matches the story. These are state records covering every business in Texas, not scraped guesses.

AI does the reading and the writing. The substance is the data above.

The process

How a report gets made

The same pipeline every time: find the business, pull its reviews and records from the sources above, read them, write it up. About five minutes end to end.

Two ways to run it

Start with your own business

Know Your Business

Your business, the way customers see it

The owner report reads your reviews and records and tells you what is working, what keeps coming up, and what is worth acting on next. Most owners start here, and your first one is free.

Know Your Competition

The same lens on a business you watch

When you are curious how another business is doing, run the same report on them and read the two side by side. Same sections, same sources, so the comparison is honest. You draw the conclusions.
